To set the mood for Taylor + Oscar’s wedding we should start by first giving you a peek inside Taylor’s grandparents charming Michigan home that they built in 1920. Imagine the sentimentality attached to this home – Taylor’s parents got married there, her brother, cousins…why have a wedding anywhere else? Plus it’s beautiful! A spontaneous stop at a soft serve ice cream shop, a post ceremony boat ride from a lakeside chapel, and Glass Jar Photography’s calming and stunning photos (and video!) – this 50 person wedding on the lake is just picture perfect.

A little stop on the way to the chapel for a little soft serve makes for the cutest photo op.

Two flags flying high represent their roots: Taylor being from Michigan and Oscar from Colombia.

After the service, they left the lakeside chapel on a boat (stocked with champagne). From Taylor: It was the perfect moment of quietness after it all, the first time I think I took a breath. Just to be in the breeze and on the water was heaven.

A simple white and blue tea towel wrapped in twine with a sprig of sage made for a perfect dinner napkin and they’re so easy to reuse. Just wash and keep on hand for your next party. Taylor scored enough for her 50 guest count on wholesale price here.

This crowd is having a little bit too much fun on the dance floor. It could only mean one thing – Michael Antonia of The Flashdance was flown in from LA to bring everyone young and old was on their feet all night long!

Glass Jar Photography nailed it with their photos….and this super 8 moving picture!
