We love it when we get to travel overseas for a wedding. Well, we didn’t really travel, but we’re excited to share today’s wedding nonetheless, plus we get to bring you along for the ride! Eadaoin + Seàn chose to start their “happily ever after” in the 300-year-old Ballintaggart House in Dingle, Ireland with a relaxed but festive celebration sprinkled with cute & fun DIY elements. It’s adorable, it’s romantic, and it’s the perfect wedding to look at while drinking some tea!

A vintage inspired headpiece custom made by Emmy McCormick is the perfect accessory to go with her David Fielden gown (which she wears quite stunningly, no?)

The charms on her bouquet were a present from Seán – they say Grá [love] and Go deo [forever] in Irish – a lovely keepsake from the day that she now wears as a bracelet!

Eadaoin kept the decor pretty simple with small DIY projects that were quick and fun to make. She collected Bonne Maman jars (which really isn’t hard to do if you love your jelly), decorated them with simple wooden hearts and filled them with moss and fairy lights that lit up in the evening.

The sweet/tea table had such fun signage with the words YUM and TAE [tea in Irish!], which Eadaoin created by covering polystyrene letters with patterned paper and PVA glue. Love this! You can find kraft letters like the ones she used at Paper Source and then find whatever patterned paper you like, or even fabric to cover them to fit your theme.

Congrats Eadaoin + Seàn!
