Colorful South African wedding

categories Details + Decor, Real Weddings

Got a little something special to share with all you cakelets this morning, a super beautiful and vibrantly colorful South African wedding, shot by the wonderful wonderful duo WeLovePictures. Voytek & Tamem’s wedding took place on a brilliantly sunny day in one of the dreamiest locations ever – The Conservatory on the Western Cape of South Africa. Doesn’t that just sound idyllic?

The event is so full of life, too – pretty perfect for stuntman-architect duo Voytek & Tamem (really, he’s a stuntman!) Perhaps our fave part is the amazing photobooth backdrop made of about a million colorful buntings.

The wide open & airy vibe of the reception space is stunning. And with all those gorgeous exotic flowers, it almost has a kind of greenhouse thing going on!

Can you even imagine a more perfect place to snap silly pics?

Check out more of the fab pics over at WeLovePictures. So rich and beautiful! Congrats, you two!

Venue: The Conservatory, Fraanschhoek, Western Cape, South Africa / Bunting backdrop from Urban Outfitters / Paper garlands: Purchased at store in Cape Town called Church / Flowers: Lush Flowers / Catering: Reuben’s Restaurant

  15. The fabric bunting backdrop looks like a duvet cover that Urban Outfitters used to sell — it’s the Ditsy Pennants duvet that was here: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=18080796&navAction=jump&navCount=

But they took the photo down so here’s a photo for reference: http://pinterest.com/pin/40776/

I wonder if you could find someone on eBay selling it?

  21. Sara is the WINNER! The booth fabric is indeed a duvet cover bought from Urban Outfitters in September 2010. They were almost out of stock then. We were super lucky! It’s great to sleep on and it’s a dream booth backdrop! haha We think we should write Urban Outfitters and thank them for producing such a super product!

Thanks for all the lovely comments guys and much love to the super duper 100 Layer Cake folks for featuring our work.

  24. Thanks for your posting about tea. There is so much to learn about the different teas. I appreciate your thoughts and thank you for continuing the discussion.

  25. When working from home you will be required to invest money and time.
In fact, the differences often have something to do with how
you view your products and services. They will be able to sit
down with individuals and write out a proper plan and help them get
    everything under control.
