We’ve got a major weakness for rustic and romantic coastal weddings, and these photos of Kristen & Ben’s wedding totally deliver. Josh Goleman is the photog responsible for these stunning images, but Kristen & Ben deserve a ton of credit, considering they designed and built pretty much everything you see here themselves – even if it meant learning to use a super antique sewing machine and silkscreen printer!
This venue (Oz Farm) was a perfect choice for this event, btw – what with the gorgeous scenery, barn, redwood grove, cabins, and swimming stream. Soooo pretty and full of natural beauty.
This gorgeous retro-French looking poster featuring silhouettes of the couple was a fab idea! The colors are awesome, too, as is that clever little book/ring pillow.
Super sweet idea right here. Guests wrote notes to Kristen & Ben on these 100 year old French postcards and put them in a 200 year old antique letter box during the ceremony… oh the things you can find on eBay! They plan on reading them on their tenth anniversary.
Loving all the colorful details here, it fits so well with the simple hues of the wedding party ensembles.
We LOVE this little bit here – each placecard featured the guest’s silhouette. We can only imagine how long that took but – yeah, so worth it. Amazing, and such a great thing to take home. All the paper goods were printed on birchwood by the couple, except for the invites and poster, which were made by Night Owl Paper Goods.
What super gorgeous photos! That silhouette is so classy. Love every little thing about this, congrats Kristen & Ben!

OH MY GOODNESS
that ceremony under the trees!!!
gorgeous
What a stunning wedding! I love the venue and location, especially the ceremony location in front of those trees, and the tables on the lawn in front of the barn. So many thoughtful details!
Love that sod aisle runner and all the vintage paper goods. So lovely.
Oh what a beautiful wedding. Somehow the overcast skys work with the color palette. And the paper goods are all so cute! Love it!
LOVE the rustic feel of this wedding and the pastel color palette is fantastic. The set up under the trees is so lovely! Such a beautiful ceremony, congratulations!!
OH my goodness I love this wedding! So pretty! And her bustled dress is stunning!
I have been trying to find a place that sells birchwood paper, but have had an awful time of it! Any ideas on where this lovely couple found theirs?
Oh, wow, how absolutely gorgeous. My jaw has dropped wide open and I can’t get enough of looking at their photos. Everything, even down to the bridesmaid dresses, is just glorious.
Thanks to them for sharing their wedding with us.
Hands down one of the most beautiful weddings on the blog! I love the faux chapel made with the linen and trees. Sooo pretty.
This is one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen! So organic in its beauty and details, from the books, to the desserts, to the paper design. And of course, I love a black and white wedding!
I think little details are so important. I’m trying not to go overboard with them, but as I’m going along I think of little things I would like to incorporate and it makes me giddy to think that something so little will have such a special meaning.

That aisle runner is so sweet , and having those gigantic trees as the backdrop for the ceremony…swoon!

So cool to see these comments. Thanks to everyone for their compliments. This is Kristen, the bride from this wedding. I just wanted to reply to Jacqui Bay’s comments about the birch paper. We ordered large sheets of it from Hiromi Paper out of Santa Monica and cut everything down to the size we needed. It took the Gocco printing well and we even ran it through our Epson for a couple things. Just be sure to use a top loading printer, and it only works with the grain one way. For the invitations, we had them printed on birch at Night Owl Paper Goods out of Alabama.
I am the bride’s (Kristen) sister, and this was one of the most beautiful weddings ever. The photographer did a wonderful job of capturing the essence of the day…and my sister was the most beautiful bride…EVER:)
Ben and Kristen: What a beautiful wedding. Gale told me about it, but to see all the beautiful pictures it really puts everything into perspective. The two of you put so much into your special day. I’m sure that you will remember and treasure it for years to come.
The details and the colors are amazing. Love the location!!
Beautiful beautiful!
