Rustic Mexican wedding: Marc + Cecilia

Categories   Real Weddings

When we saw these images from Marc & Cecilia’s wedding, shot by Michelle King, we knew we had to share them with you.  The couple chose the most romantically rustic location in San Pancho, Mexico – gorgeous, authentic and totally lush. Naturally, the event was full of genuine Mexican details like a traditional mariachi band and a taco bar, topped off by a little tequila and some unbelievable underwater shots by Michelle.

The scene was a serene resort on the coast in the heart of the Nayarit jungle – the perfect place for the widespread families of Cecilia (a Mexican Catholic) and Marc (an American Jewish) to gather as these two got married.

What an impressive location – it doesn’t get much better than this! Not even a power outage stopped this all-night celebration.

And now for the best part – these breathtaking underwater photos of the newlyweds. They are so dreamy and refreshing – incredible work, Michelle, they came out perfect!

Completely beautiful, you guys – we’re in awe.

My favorite blog posts are always the unique ones. I absolutely love when I see so many bright colors in a summer wedding. It really adds a tropical touch to the event. The bride and groom looked amazing. Her unique dress really caught my eye and I bet it got a lot of attention at the wedding as well. I love the fact they kept the theme going throughout the wedding and made sure to have all the little Mexican traditions incorporated. The venue is breathtaking whether it was day time or night time. Michele, kudos to you for the photos, they turned out amazing. I know the biggest focus is the underwater photographs but the ones that really got my attention are the ones from the beginning of the blog. The photo with the parrot is incredibly quirky and fun, as well as the photo with the whole bridal party jumping up! And I love love love the photo of the couple under that unique arch. Truly stunning work. Congratulations to the happy couple and like always kudos to the vendors as well as 100layercake for the post! Katarina I. Weddingful - Plan a Fabulous Wedding
