Foodie Long Island wedding: Sarah + Vincent

categories Details + Decor, Real Weddings

This pretty wedding came from our friend and 100LC reader Sarah, who actually found her amazing photographer through our little blog. NEAT!!! Sarah and her hubs Vincent live in LA (where Vincent is the killer chef/owner of Animal), but had their wedding at Sarah’s family home on Long Island. As she says, having the wedding at home was a ton of work, but way worth it for the intimacy and memories they’ll have forever.

Now let’s see them photos…

Cutey-cuterson, right?

Congrats Sarah and Vincent! And for LA readers, definitely check out Animal. It’s tres delish.

Photography: Charlotte Jenks Lewis / Venue: Family home / Dress: Carolina Herrera / Hair piece: (made from vintage paper flowers) A Little Vintage, Beverly Hills / Suit: John Varvatos / Invitations & Paper: Bridget Williams of BDUB and the bride / Coordination: Kimberlee Bendeck / Catering: Prune Restaurant, NYC / Floral Design: StoneKelly / Lighting: Levy Lighting / DJ: Jonathan Jacobs, The Vintage DJ / Bluegrass Trio: Marc Silver / Tent: Starr Tents

  14. Love it!! What did they do with the brown bags that said keepsakes? Was if for photos?? Were those the favors? Love the idea, but I’d love to know more about it!! Thanks for a lovely post!

  15. This is Bridget from BDUB. It was so great to be a part of this wedding – the bride and groom are more charming than any photo could capture!

Johanna – I’m sorry about the form on my website.. While it’s getting sorted out, I can be reached at bridget@bdub-ny.com.

Caitlin – the Keepsake bag was used to take home a photo that the guests had taken/printed at a photo “booth” by photographer Charlotte at the reception.

I hope you guys like everything – I am such a huge 100LC fan!

  16. On balance, a lovely wedding. The pigs in a blanket deserve a shout-out for their contribution to the down-home feel. On a cautionary note: Think twice before adding ol’ timey fiddlers to your wedding mix. You’ll spend more time prying them away from the open bar than you will dancing to their music.

  17. Love it! Love it! Love it! The trouble with most rustic weddings is that the guests often feel as if they’re picnicking at a roadside reststop. But this one creates that authentic Arkansian feel without making you suspect that the groom is wearing a piece of rope for a belt.
