Good morning, sunshines! Weirdly, we’re almost making good on our plans from last Monday. Remember the ones about always starting the week with a thoroughly inspired wedding, perhaps with a theme, and always artfully styled? Well, our reader Melissa appeared as our Monday angel this week with her divinely dapper wedding at the Montauk Club in Brooklyn.
Melissa is an art director and her hubby Vincent is a style director at Conde Net (which is the online side of Conde Nast). So um yeah, they have something to say when it comes to design, decor, and all around stylings. Can you tell?

Kay, give us a minute here to collect ourselves. You know??? Wow.
Melissa and Vincent designed their own invites and had them letterpressed by Enormous Champion. With frickin’ stunning calligraphy by Tara Jones.
And that ring pillow (that we are all dying to have for ourselves, right?)… Melissa made it. Um Melissa? Ever considered an etsy shop?
Flowers: The amazing Nicolette Camille / Dress: Amy Kuschel / Headpiece: Sara Gabriel Both purchased from (in Melissa’s words) the lovely and helpful and well priced Gabriella Bridal Salon in NYC / Catering: Montauk Club chef Mark Usewicz / Cheese plates: Saxelby Cheesemongers / Dessert: One Girl Cookies / Groom’s Cake: Blue Sky Bakery / String Trio: Hire Conservatory Alumni / DJs: friends Emily Ryan and Michael Goodstein / Photography: Weddings by Two
And “the star of the day- our beyond amazing day of coordinator who kept the day flowing perfectly and made sure we could totally enjoy ourselves!” : Christine Viola
(pretty good rec for you Brooklyn brides out there).
Now go forth and enjoy your Monday everyone. And THANK YOU Melissa for sending your amazing wedding photos over. We are certainly feeling inspired.

Wow! Everything looks so amazing! It’s a little silly, but I think my favorite part is the swiss cheese inspired cheese menu – it is so cute!
Oh, la la. This whole wedding is just gorgeous!
And the gorgeous napkins?
the cheese, the black and white cookies, the feather hairpiece, the ring pillow, LOVE the details.
What a lovely wedding!
Love the idea for the ring pillows! My husband and I each gave our mothers a handkerchief from our home state. I found them on ebay. What a great use for them!
As a reside of the buckeye state, I have to say that pillow is adorable! The whole event was just lovely.
I’m not sure you can get any more chic than that. So fashionable, great wedding!

Love the ring pillow! I’m a fan of maps and wedding ideas that are more gender neutral than girly. Too cute!

What a super-cool, super-hip wedding. I love the vintage feel of everything, of course. Especially the last black and white photo, which looks straight out of some fifties family photo album. Again, just super-cool.

I want to get married again! everything about this wedding is stunning! so many simple but elegant touches.
Hello everyone and thank you for your wonderful compliments! I was a huge fan of this gorgeous blog during our planning, so it’s a honor to be included now that I am a Mrs. Cheers to the ladies of 100 Layer Cake!
LPC- regarding the napkins:
I bought the peacock ones at Broadway Panhandler here in NYC. The black and white patterned, and “MelVin 4 Ever” were designed by us, and lovingly letterpressed by our friends at Enormous Champion.
Alison-
You made Vincent’s day with your Elvis Costello reference!

So stylish! beautiful photography too. I love how the whole thing was captured with just the right vibe. Lovely.
i’m in love with the head piece! It oozes beauty and character.
I LOVE the OHIO pillow!!! I also adore a vintage theme wedding!
Oh my gosh, where can I get both the California and Ohio fabric??
My fiance is from California and I’m from Ohio and have been looking for cute ways to represent our respective states in our wedding and that fabric is amazing!!
if anyone knows please drop me an e-mail thank you!
gorgeous wedding btw!
Jennifer,
The California and Ohio fabrics are actually vintage hankies. Your best bet is to try ebay and search “state hankies”. good luck!

Oh such a lovely wedding!
I would really really like to know where the groom’s outfit is from. He has fabulous style.
Hello Marte-
I will speak on behalf of Vincent- his suit, shirt, tie and shoes are from Paul Smith- I believe the suit was from a one-off evening collection. The silk scarf is Alexander McQueen, which he stole from my closet!
Yes, he does have great style
M
love her bouquet!
Thanks Amanda,
found some!
I need to know where she got that ring!
Hi Amber-
Both my rings are vintage pieces from the 20s-30s- engagement ring is a transitional cut, and wedding ring is an eternity band of french cut diamonds. I love them!
Both are from an estate dealer in NYC’s diamond district, Eric’s Originals (4 W 47th St). They have great selection and prices.

How gorgeously elegant and fun!
I especially love the mini black and white cookies.
