The pretty pleated fans are reason alone to save this wedding in your research folder. The colors: mossy green and saffrony orange and pretty sky blue, are perfect and unexpected… our favorite sort of palette. And somehow Jayme managed to carry stripes and pleats right through to the candy favors and tassles on their horse-drawn getaway carriage. More people should have getaway carriages, shouldn’t they? Shira from The Bride’s Guide, (Martha’s lovely wedding blog), sent these beautiful images over a few days ago, knowing we have a soft spot for Jenna’s handiwork. She’s right of course. Look:

Such a good idea to put photobooth tickets in each escort card envelope! Totally avoids the problem of your guests not realizing you have an awesome photobooth set up in the corner of your reception space. And the dogwoods… those are dogwoods aren’t they? We don’t have them here on the west coast, but they are so beautiful.

Thanks for giving us the heads up, Shira!

P.S. I wanted to let you know that you do have Dogwoods in Northern California. I grew up there and they are amazing when they bloom.

  10. I don’t know what tree that is, but it is not a dogwood. Here’s a dogwood: http://www.bewilderingstories.com/issue211/dogwood_blossom.jpg
