Show Me Your Mumu bridal shower
Before we get into all the rad details in this post, let us just say: Even if you don’t have a bridal bash to plan, you can still whip up a killer party based on the theme from Cammy of Show Me Your Mumu’s shower. In fact, spring is a perfect time to do so. It was all at a Venice beach bungalow and every element is super bright and sunny and just so fun. Onto the photos by Cannon Alexandra Photography…
Mumu’s photo editor Fallon Wilson did some photoshopping for the décor too… Cammy says, I think my favorite part of the entire shower was my face photoshopped as Frida Kahlo—the resemblance was crazy. Cologne, the other half of Show Me Your Mumu, had these amazing pinatas made of me, my fiancé Nico, and our dog Mick that continued to make me laugh throughout the day. The muddled margaritas were obviously a favorite as well!
Really, what’s more fun than merging two vibrant and beachy cultures like Sayulita + Venice?
I think what made it the most special was that the shower was just as much fun for the guests as it was for me… The most memorable moment would have to be having all my close friends and family, from all different stages in my life, together in one place. Family and friends from all over the country, that are so rarely together, made the experience one I will never forget.

And a few words from one of the gals who brought the whole thing to life, Wendy… As soon as Cammy set her date and mentioned Sayulita as a possible theme, I immediately began searching and organizing on Pinterest. A classy, blue and white and flowery theme developed in my boards which was also the direction Bri and Cologne were thinking. We all know Cammy’s flamboyance for all things gorgeous so it was easy to decorate with her in mind!
The inspiration was really Cammy herself. We knew her love for Mexico, bright colors, pops of vibrant white, and lots of flowers. Her personality is so outgoing and vibrant, we wanted to mimic that. The flowers were a little more tropical to stay in theme with the Venice bungalow appeal.
