Becca + Nate fell in love at the beach when they were first dating, which made this timeless setting all the more fitting. Their love story, told by Becca: Nate walked into my life on a Tuesday and changed my heart forever. I was 24 and in grad school, working part time at a coffee shop when he stopped in for a break from work and a double latte. I remember the draw, the attraction, the way his eyes glowed bright and blue as denim, and how my heartbeat changed that day and beat faster from then on.
Nate and I are both super shy and awkward around cameras so we really wanted the whole experience to be raw and natural—something our amazing photographers at The Why We Love are gifted at capturing. We met, then fell in love at the beach with our dog; so us all being together and taking pictures while having a picnic seemed like the way to go. It seemed like the closest thing to a normal day off for the three of us.
