Moroccan inspired wedding shoot

October 10, 2012
Moroccan-inspired invitation suite

The inspiration behind this colorful and cultural styled shoot was to create an earthy and eclectic mood with a sophisticated twist to help tell the love story of two free spirits. The Bath Club in Miami Beach set a modern yet rustic backdrop for an imagined bride and groom who shared a passion for global flavors, colors and textures, and met while traveling abroad. With a vibrant palette of pinks, oranges, gold, and DIY ombrè elements, Sugar(ed) Event Design created the perfect bohemian vibe that we’re positive will inspire you to add some pops of color to your wedding.

The paper goods and invitation suite by Make Merry! feature bright patterns and silk tassels that could have been picked up at a street bazaar in India or Morocco.

A simple ceremony by the ocean could be followed by a cocktail hour featuring internationally influenced margaritas, Chili Guava, Coconut Lime and Watermelon.

Rather than the typical wedding cake, the bride and groom opted for a custom sorbet cart, filled with refreshing, exotic flavors.
