Pickles and Pies Events used the groom’s English background as inspiration for this charming Brooklyn shower: We wanted a lovely vintage party with soft colors and fragrant spring flowers that could have been picked along a quaint Cotswold country road. All the guests were to arrive in fascinators or hats, and they did not disappoint. We pride ourselves on thinking creatively and using many items we already own to make the perfect party. This allows us to spend the money where it should be spent—on food and wine. Our kind of party! Caroline Frost Photography was there to capture all the prettiness.
The maid of honor designed all the invites personally, as well as the favors you see down below, which were little satchels of basil seeds.
The siganture cocktail was a Pimm’s Cup, adding to the English flair.
The bride wanted a paper crane curtain for her wedding, so there was a paper crane folding station where guests could get crafty and contribute.
We always love seeing a bride-to-be with her ladies!
