The team at Weddings on Demand were inspired to set a contemporary electric pink, symbolizing female empowerment as well as breaking the mold in weddings, against the historic features of The Forum of Augustus. The inspiration… During this time when our industry was at a complete standstill, we had only one hope, that the rebound effect after a year of deprivation would lead us to an unstoppable desire for light and color. We had a very clear palette in mind: black like the DARK of the lockdown in contrast with the shades of PINK, for an all-female restart. In the new millennium, hot-pink was elected as a symbol of neo-feminism, from singers committed to female empowerment to feminist-inspired webzines: hot-pink is everywhere!
