Hope you like adorable photos, Cakies, because this is just about the cutest baby shower we’ve ever seen. Amorology first met mom and pop to be, Susan and Jade, back when they were planning their wedding. So they knew who to call when it was time to celebrate their sweet babe’s arrival at Chez Balliet. Playing to mama’s fave childhood novel Charlotte’s Web, and their baby’s name, Wonder (we know, so sweet), the day was all about whimsical colors and textures and lots of joyful details. And yes, the cutest little farm animals ever! Thanks to Dear Lovers for sharing all the pretty photos…
Cutest piggy themed baby shower invite, as brought to life by Papel & Co!
OMG, these Charlotte’s Web themed sugar cookies. TOO Cute!!!! Hey There Cupcake! is a genius. But we all already knew that, didn’t we?
Heather of Amorology says, Sunshine yellow, pig pink, cream tones, tangerine, and accents of black set the stage for the sweetest farm feel backyard celebration. The tables were set with playful piggy nose plates, wood trays, and all the pretty colorful linens from Heather Taylor Home. To give a nod to the book, we scattered little spiders on the tables for guests to find. The kids’ table was placed under a fun barn-shaped structure where a delicately created spider web garland hung in the corner, adorned with flora and carefully placed letters that spelled out “Wonder”. For a lively and different take on traditional centerpieces, Nectar and Bloom created a beautiful floral arrangement that grew from the inside of a little wood barn house.
Aren’t all the web-themed details so lovely?
Here’s where guests could leave hair bows for baby girl. The ‘salutations’ wall wasn’t just a photo backdrop, but a station for guests/pen pals to leave well wishes for her future birthdays!
We brought in a little petting zoo where bunnies, geese, and goats ran free, and even a pony was there for the little ones to ride. During the event, guests also enjoyed a delicious BBQ that was followed by a sweet floral cake from Hey There, Cupcake animal sugar cookies and a piggy inspired “Oink Oink” ice cream station as well as lemonades that served as a refreshment for the warmest of all summer days.
Btw, it was pretty perfect that our couple could include this especially special guest, as a nod to the Year of the Pig!
