A word before we dive into this pretty pink palace inspiration: Yes, when it comes to weddings and Coronavirus (and life in general) everything has been turned upside down. It’s unfathomable and devastating for about a zillion reasons. You’re likely considering options for plan B, and overwhelm would be an understatement. THAT said, hopefully this time gives you the opportunity to dive a little deeper, as a couple, into what matters most to you… then dream up all the different ways to make it happen.
This Lisbon editorial by MUZA Weddings embodies the spirit of elopements to empower brides to plan a wedding that truly makes them happy. Even if an elopement isn’t your thing (it’s not for everyone, of course), the concept and details that follow represent that empowerment every couple should feel for their big day. Thanks to Adriana Morais for sharing the photos!
Super fun, modern elopement announcement idea to use in place of an invite. It makes family and friends feel included in the big day even if they weren’t physically there. Plus, it’s such a good memento!
Bruna of MUZA Weddings explains, This shoot was a way of showing our brides that they can plan their wedding however they wish. We do a lot of elopements and what inspires us the most is that as they are so stress-free and often more authentic. They allow for more bold choices for the wedding, for their dress and accessory options and even for decor and graphics. The elopement gives them the freedom to be themselves and to have more fun.
Dahlias and peonies and allll the pretty spring blooms! Kckliko dreamt up the sweetest spring arrangements.
This shoot was meant to be unique, girly, fun, young and elegant, using one of the most beautiful hotels downtown Lisbon. This palace is from the XVI century, with some of its original stones and structure and has the most beautiful ceilings. All the stationery was tailor-made with an iridescent foil and the details of the table were a reflection of that too along with the glittery makeup and hair.
The team enlisted Migalha Doce to design a statement cake to prove that you don’t need a big wedding to have a big cake! We’d have to agree 😉
Glittery eyes, check. Sleek hair, check. Floral crown, check. Hair and makeup artist Cati Beauty was behind the bride’s look.
Such a fun shoot and we hope you’re all feeling a little more empowered…
