No matter how many weddings we see, one thing’s for sure: We will always be up for a new destination. Lichtenstein Castle is an iconic landmark in its own right, not to mention one of so many spectacular places to visit in Germany (European honeymoon, anyone?), but seeing what an elopement might look like there is a whole new experience. Spoiler alert, it’s breathtaking. And on a crisp fall day, too. Here’s what Koko Photography and Josina of & Mrs. Hochzeitsverliebt dreamt up:

This sight, GASP. Lichtenstein Castle was built on this rocky escarpment, and has quite the history. It was first inspired by a book of the same time and constructed in 1840. History buffs will definitely appreciate its storied past.

How sweet are this bride and groom and their pups?!

From the team… This dreamlike elopement in Germany featured a charming natural couple in front of the fairytale scenery of Lichtenstein Castle in Baden-Wuerttemberg on a sunny and cold autumn day. Schloss Lichtenstein has another name: the fairytale castle of Baden-Württemberg. It is also known as Neuschwanstein’s little brother, who resembles Germany’s most famous castle… the one that inspired Disney’s Cinderella Castel (also nearby).

Is it really an elopement if you don’t ride off on a motorcycle?! After the ceremony, Marija & Vukas rode off to one of the many beautiful barns in the Black Forest for a charming dinner for two.

Looks like we’ll need to add this stylish groom to our list of top fall groom’s fashion.

If you’re thinking of a unique European destination elopement, Stuttgart, Germany just might be the place!
