Morning, friends! How pretty are these chartreuse bridesmaid gowns for a spring wedding? Especially for a wedding in an area as gorgeous and unique as a cactus garden in Santa Barbara, like the one Kristen Beinke Photography captured here. We’ve got the deets on them and more bridal party ideas from the team at Studio 110 Santa Barbara and Jill & Co. Events, below:
Jill of Jill & Co. Events says, This pristine botanical garden tucked away in Montecito, California, just outside of Santa Barbara is a magical setting, and the perfect space for inspiration for this styled shoot with a bride and her ‘maids. The grounds were created to be dramatic, whimsical, and unexpected as you wander throughout, discovering little nooks along the way. The creatives from Studio 110 in Santa Barbara took this and played off of the different settings throughout the property.
Yep, the crew even found a ring box in the perfect shade. That sparkler comes from Daniel Gibbings Jewelry.
Don’t ask us why, but seeing a cactus adorned with peonies just get us every time. So pretty! Coco Rose Design used Coco Rose Design used Claire De Lune peonies, yellow ninebark branches, white astilbe, lady’s mantle, astrantia, ranunculus, garden roses, and foxglove throughout her playful spring arrangements.
After portraits in the cactus garden and amongst the topiaries, the table was set in the path between the aloe garden and the blue garden. La Tavola Topaz Parchment linen draped the table, acting as a gorgeous neutral palette on which to layer the set with gorgeous china, flatware and glassware from The Ark based out of Southern California. The stunning golden vine chargers tied in the gardens, while the detailing of the French china in fleur, beaded and petal had a whimsy that the gardens carried throughout. The delicate enso glassware and gold eclipse flatware brought the whole look together.
The bride and her ‘maids were dressed by Jenny Yoo. The bride wore the style, Jackie, a Milan beaded applique on silk organza in ivory, which really added a delicate dimension to the bridal style. The maids wore Alanna and Kayla in chartreuse, the color popping in the garden and the perfect color to transition between all seasons. Luna Bella Hair & Makeup applied natural glowy makeup and soft waves to the ladies’ hair, fitting for an afternoon in the gardens.
Would you use chartreuse as a wedding color? Thanks to Jill + the talented team below for this cactus garden editorial!
