Have we mentioned how much we love that this here blog allows us to see travel and wedding locations we’d have never discovered without amazing people like the EmotionTTL and Marelì Wedding Planner & Designer pointing them out for us? Take the 19th-century greenhouse at Sezana Botanical Garden in Slovenia. The team came across this historic gem in the gardens, right up next to the Italian border. Such a neat discovery—naturally we had to see what they did with the space…
The white + green wedding colors were a no brainer, of course, but Elisa of Marelì Wedding Planner & Designer and the crew gave this organic vignette a modern twist with pops of copper throughout.
Elisa tells it, This place is perfect for intimate romantic weddings so we set a sleek table for six finished off with elegant high tapered candles and the beautiful floral by Meta from Sanjski Sopek. She played with a variety of greenery, anemones, roses, lisianthus and then combined some subtle touches of pink and peach ranunculus, and some beautiful protea for a unique effect.
Would you believe they scored all the unique bride AND groom fashion on ASOS?
Nope, don’t think we’ve ever seen copper and green quite like this…
At Sezana Botanical Garden you can find countless varieties of exotic plant species like cactus, succulents, palm trees… So we decided to center the shoot around the botanical theme. We wanted to enhance the tropical lushness and the stunning architecture so we kept everything else very simple and modern.
Any newly engageds got their sights on a greenhouse wedding right about now? Thanks to the team below for sharing today!
