Wouldn’t these bride + groom looks be so striking for an industrial wedding? Photog Emily Wren and Melissa of Building Bok wanted to focus on their venue’s new archive wall and adorning it with romantic details with just a little bit of drama really brought out its edge. Peep all the other urban industrial wedding ideas they teamed up with Rabbit Rabbit Crew on below!
This styled shoot took place at BOK, a brand new wedding venue born out of an abandoned historic vocational school in Philadelphia, PA. Once closed by the School District of Philadelphia in 2013, BOK is now thriving as a space for a growing community of makers, small businesses, nonprofits and event spaces. BOKwed offers a broad variety of spaces within the full city-block wide building—from industrial to deco—that can accommodate parties of 25-300, with flexible formats and an unparalleled view of Philadelphia from the building’s very own rooftop bar.
The gorgeous dip-dyed skirt and lace top are from Sweet Caroline Styles, BTW.
And they incorporated Devon & Pinkett‘s wild and overgrown florals and vines, ferns, and lush greenery to contrast the clean lines of the space.
Stylist and paper artist Rabbit Rabbit really brought the whole shoot together. With the help of Fox & Finch Vintage Rentals, Rabbit Rabbit completed the vision using elements of weathered brass, slate and marble throughout to add the perfect amount of class and polish to compliment the wild landscape of rich greenery and the modern, industrial lines of the space.
If you need us, we’ll be dreaming of dining here…Nutmeg Cake Design sure knew how to run with the industrial yet wild theme, huh?
