If California comes to mind when you think of wine country weddings, we don’t blame you. But if you’ve never explored Oregon’s wine country, you’re in for a real treat: Heirbloom Floral + the team below set up camp not too far from Portland and as you’ll see in the images by Gabriela Ines, it’s got a stunning landscape all of its own. Perfect for pairing with jaw-dropping florals and a handmade gown, if you ask us…
Isn’t this gold Elizabeth Bower headpiece gorgeous? They paired it with the raw lavender gemstone ring from By Angeline above.
Kathryn of Heirbloom Floral says, For florals, I envisioned vibrant colors so I went with a romantic sunset inspired color palette to accent our neutral backdrop. When designing the florals for this shoot I intentionally used only locally grown flowers to show the high quality and unique variety from our local farmers. Some of my favorites were the coral and peach garden roses, lavender, and scabiosa. I have developed a love for floral installations whether it’s for the wedding ceremony or reception. For our bridal shoot I designed a unique circular shaped arbor, which created a dramatic yet organic setting that highlighted our stunning bride.
Such a pretty backdrop.
I wanted to create a setting that was soft, simple, and effortless. Classic Vintage Rentals provided rentals and décor to create a beautiful tablescape along with the ever so delicate plant dyed table runner (and bouquet ribbons) hand made by Nettle Textiles… The natural beauty of Oregon wine country is awe-inspiring and a breath of fresh air. It was a dream to shoot out in the open fields and enjoy the quiet nature. A truly special place to explore and discover.
Le sigh… So beautiful!
