Just because we’re forever fans of color doesn’t mean we’re against a sleeker palette. In fact, injecting a little masculinity into a wedding theme can arguably provide more romance. Not convinced? These images by Kat Bevel Photography give pink flowers and white dresses a run for their money:
Knowing that many of her clients wanted something a little different, Kathlee of Beau Tied Events whipped up a scene complete with mid century modern elements, bright greenery, and a little Brooklyn flair…
I plan a lot of weddings with palettes of pinks, pastels, and traditionally feminine colors – which I love – but I begun to think a lot about unique designs for my clients who specifically do not want a pink or floral-filled wedding. This idea evolved into a shoot around a couple that wanted a wedding to reflect their personal style and taste – with influences of urban architecture, foraged local plants, and mid-century design.
The centerpieces by Rosehip Flora were made up of greens foraged from around Austin… So cool.
One important element of the shoot was showing a groom that’s just as invested in his fashion as the bride. Doesn’t he look dapper in this custom suit from Dandy’s – a store that focuses on classic, vintage styles?
Annnnd a sugar succulent to top off a classic cake.
Thanks to the guys below for a wonderful shoot!
