Big and elaborate weddings aren’t for everyone. But if you’re tinkering around with the idea of eloping but worry that it means you have to skimp out on the pretty details, the first part of this inspiration shoot from Scott Clark Photo and Hallie Slade of LB Events is going to show you how to keep things low key, within budget, and oh so pretty. The second part is just as dreamy, so make sure to come back in a bit for that!
Even if you’re not inviting anyone to your elopement, we think you should still commemorate the day with a fancy invitation suite. These wedding invitations designed by Prim and Pixie, are beautiful. Plum + gold foil… you can never go wrong!Girl Meets Bongga did a phenomenal job on her hair, no? A simple French twist with pin curls, love! It’s such an elegant look and really photographs well from every angle.
From Girl Meets Bongga: More and more we are seeing the bride and groom taking on the challenge of paying for their own weddings. This has brought out the creativity in the couple and also made planning a wedding more intimate. With Claire and Henry this is no different. The couple chose to have an adventure to the alter rather than make this day about everyone else. Instead of planning the ultimate party for their friends and family they planned the ultimate date for the two of them.
So true! Elopements take on a whole new meaning when you think of them as the ultimate date, right? We totally agree. Less stress, you can still keep the pretty details (and cake!), and in the end, you have just had the best date of your life. This one gets even better as they continue their adventure by stylishly hopping on a plane up the coast. Stay tuned!
