Coordinating your wedding party fashion with The Black Tux

The Avalon Hotel wedding The Black Tux

Morning, Cakies! How stylish are Tracy and John in their wedding day outfits? These two chose an elegant, classic black and white wedding theme with a modern twist: the bridesmaids all wore a mix of chic white dresses in different lengths, and all the guys rocked duds from The Black Tux that complemented the groom’s velvet tux. (Which comes in ruby too, BTW.) See more snaps of their Avalon Palm Springs wedding by Katherine Ann Rose below!

Before we even get into the deets of these outfits, know this: The most important part of any wedding tux is the FIT. Without great fit, a classic wedding becomes a dated wedding, not a modern one. The crew above shows how good a wedding can look when the tuxedos actually fit as they should. And yep, this is a rental! You can do it all online with The Black Tux, just by answering a few simple questions. It’s easy, accurate, and you don’t even have to awkwardly measure yourself—an expert will review and make sure it all looks good to go. They also offer both slim and classic fits to cover any age or body type.

Groomsmen Tux

Since bridesmaids have the option of going mix ‘n match within the same color like we mentioned above, it can seem tough for the guys to stand out without over-the-top ties or a contrasting vest. Not exactly the look these guys were going for. By opting for a different texture instead, the groom can show off his personal style in a low-key way and his pals will love their looks too.

While we’re on the subject of texture, did we mention that The Black Tux has velvet loafers (that can be worn with our without socks), too? Velvet loafers lend a playful vibe to the groom and wedding party outfits. And not just that—even the father of the bride rocked these loafers on Tracy and John’s day. Style doesn’t have an age limit.

For a cooler-weather wedding (winter in Palm Springs, anyone?) velvet is the perfect material. It’s plush and warm—but not hot. And it’s made of the same Italian merino wool that the rest of The Black Tux suits and tuxedos are crafted with. Such a good look for formal weddings where you plan to have both the groom + groomsmen in classic black and white.

Needless to say the whole crew totally killed it in the wedding fashion department!
