Hello, hello! We’ve got a new A-lister to introduce you to this month, event planner Cassandra & Company, who you can find in our vendor guide here. Cassandra + her team work with only ten couples each year in order to be wholly dedicated to their vision and distinctive style. So nice to know that the team you’re enlisting to plan your wedding are super committed to making it your dream day, right? Today we’re sharing a peek at some of the weddings they’ve dreamt up in California and beyond, including a really neat aspect of their work: custom design books for each client. More info below!

And a few fave spring wedding trends for 2018…

While we love springtime blooms we are excited to see some soft cotton stems adding texture–a refresh from all the beautiful succulents from the past few years

We also love seeing bars that are expressions of the overall design–providing another touch point for guests and photographers alike.

We’re also loving wreaths and seeing a greater variety of shapes and materials for ceremony arbors; cement, chapel, frame shape, angular. They’ll add a fresh touch as we move into spring!

Okay, so the design books? This is such a sweet piece of the Cassandra & Company experience, you guys. Here’s the deets: The design book was originally inspired by our destination clients. We wanted to provide a fulsome look into their celebration showing all of our concepts with the actual materials from letterpressed invitations through the tabletop’s linens and interactive end of night send-off favors. When we received calls with tears of joy we knew were on to something.

Now, each client receives their own handmade wedding design album that encapsulate their time together and become an archival keepsake.
