Nashville Cakies, have you been lucky enough to attend a wedding at The Bridge Building yet? It’s historic, industrial, and modern all at once (some of our fave words around here!), and as you can see in these shots Nyk + Cali shared, it boasts a pretty killer city view, too. The Bridge Building is a brand new member of our vendor guide, so today we’re showing you what they’re all about. (Ahem, friends tying the knot in Nashville, we’re talking to you!)
The Bridge Building is located downtown on the bank of the Cumberland River, offering couples and their guests an unparalleled view of Nashville. Ideal for all those wedding party portraits, obv!
The venue has a riverfront patio to soak up the views on, and their main space (which you’ll see below) features floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed industrial beams. And did we mention the rooftop deck?
So many of our couples want to lock down a space that can be customized, so that all of their wedding day festivities can flow perfectly without having to travel to another venue. Not only is The Bridge Building fully customizable, you can actually have a rooftop ceremony—yesss!—move down to the main space for dinner, and head back up to the roof for dancing under the stars. Doesn’t that sound magical?
We’re pretty big fans of industrial-modern venues over here, and what’s extra neat about this one is that it was originally built in 1908. So it’s got a ton of history behind it, but having been restored in 2012, it’s totally equipped to host modern weddings too. And another fun fact: It’s one of the greenest buildings *in the world*, receiving the highest LEED ranking possible.
If you’re thinking of checking out The Bridge Building while on the venue hunt, you’ll be happy to know that they also offer many additional services to ease the stress of planning, from rentals to custom catering with Infinity Events & Catering, to event design. They can even help with the coordination of outside vendors, if you prefer! Head to their website or follow them on Instagram to learn more. You can take a little virtual tour on their about page too.
