Spring breakfast in bed inspiration
Breakfast in bed, spring brunches, Sundays… this editorial Olive Photography sent our way brings together all the best parts of the whole slow start and bright morning idea, with a lovely wedding twist. The concept: Just as spring is a beautiful new start after winter, the day after your wedding is the start of a new journey together. Isn’t that so sweet? Easy to translate to anniversaries and dates too.
The whole idea was following these two as they eased into their first day as newlyweds… Naturally with breakfast in bed.
We found inspiration in the lovely blue blooms (muscari and forget-me-nots) that are amongst the first flowers to appear as the weather starts changing. We carried these blues throughout this shoot, from the fabrics, stationery and other details to their florals and her incredible art deco star sapphire antique engagement ring.
We also brought in complimentary touches of orange with kumquats in the bouquet and on the cake, as well as the jam they spread on their morning scones from a local bakery. Being foodies, they also had tiny little forks in the boutonniere and bouquet as another unique little detail.
Perfect inspiration for the morning before your honeymoon, don’t ya think? Thanks to everyone below for such a neat concept!
