When you find a wedding venue that’s complete with willow trees, apple orchards, and ponds to explore (and for Travis Kaenel to photograph) like The Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Yucaipa, CA, the ideas just start coming. Rustic tabletops. Mismatched chairs. Bohemian Claire Pettibone dresses. Obvs the ladies at Amber Events were ready to dive right in and dress it up for fall.

Surrounded by such amazing scenery made for a wonderful ambiance but the small details are what really made this fall shoot stand out. From handmade dream catchers to embroidered throw pillows, floral head band wreaths to golden flash tattoos, invitations wrapped with twine and secured by feathers to flowy wedding gowns draped with lace and sheer sleeves, these little bohemian elements burst against the subtle rustic textures of coarse cowhide, creamy furs, draping garland, wooden crates and worn cream rugs. Ribbons flutter from the romantically designed bridal bouquet and vintage jewelry brings a dash of old glam.
They also wanted to bring the rustic charm to Fantasy Frostings’ cakes with a vintage desk and décor by Carved Skulls in front.
