When a designer cites Almost Famous as one of the inspirations behind a wedding shoot, you obviously can’t look away. Ivory + Beau, the team behind the styling, attire, and florals shown in the shots by Apt B Photo, wanted to go a little retro at an airplane hangar to inspire vintage brides. Not only was the result super fun, but the soft textures and charming color palette gave everything a romantic vibe appropriate for an intimate affair.
These ladies sure know how to whip up a bouquet!
Nicole of Ivory + Beau says, With the help of my dad, we were able to use his plane and get access to the tarmac at Savannah Aviation to stage the editorial shoot. Our bride wore an off-the-shoulder Daughters of Simone gown, which fit the theme and look perfectly while our bridesmaids wore retro outfits from Fab’rik, a local boutique.
Playing off their 1970’s vibe, they made sure there was a musical element… Hence the tambourines + guitars in the décor and tablescape.
Isn’t this color palette of yellow, orange, pink, green, and turquoise sweet?
Congrats to the team below on bringing this vintage vision to life!
