Marsala, the Pantone Color of the Year, is such an undeniably romantic hue. We know we’re bound to be filled to the brim with it come autumn, but this rich complement to berry and jewel tones transcends the seasons, don’t you think? Mallory Morgan + Parie Designs dreamt up a sultry, vintage-inspired elopement scene that could easily be transformed for any event from an anniversary date to intimate wedding…

Mallory of Mallory Morgan Photography tells it, Inspired by our city’s old railroad and empty warehouses, we collaborated together to create something we imagined could’ve taken place decades ago in the very locations we shot. Deep reds and rich colors led the way, and the make-believe story of a young man and his bride sealed the deal! We had so much fun dreaming about what a romantic elopement may have look like long ago.
