Good morning and happy Friday! Hopefully the workweek was nice and short for you. The gals behind this bridal luncheon know that there’s nothing sweeter than spending time with your best friends. Even sweeter if there’s festivities involved. Southern Fete mixed classic southern romanticism with a touch of modern flair, pulled together by a soft color palette and a whimsical setting. The result sure is charming.

Yep, that IS an adorable wedding cake shot with raspberry filling. They also had gold-dusted macarons.
To set up the scene… The invitation suite incorporated a hand-painted watercolor stripe offset with handwritten calligraphy to strike the romantic, yet modern feel of the luncheon. Instead of the traditional RSVP card, guests were encouraged to share a few sweet words about the bride. Later, they snuck away from the table to a more quaint seating area to exchange gifts. The bride gave her bridesmaids personalized charm bracelets to show her appreciation. The ladies shared a champagne toast to the upcoming big day, and they closed the luncheon by reading all of the sweet notes guests shared on their RSVP cards.
