Aloha themed bridal shower

Aloha themed bridal shower

Did you catch the lovely garden bridal shower from earlier this week? We’re back with another festive shower, this time for Kimberly of eat.sleep.wear. Kim wanted a shower with a tropical flair, since the chosen locale for her + fiancé Blake’s wedding next week is Maui. Naturally an “aloha” theme was in order, and who better to enlist than Beijos Events for such a job? After all, they did style up some of our fave tropical bridal shower ideas to date—in fact, that editorial is what inspired this fête.

Thanks to Felicia Lasala for the photos below!

Love the pink shades + flower crown. Our bride-to-be tells it, I have been taking every opportunity to get dressed in white so I picked a fun and flirty white sequin dress from Parker for the shower. A special little treat for all the guests? Handmade flower crowns. Connected us all together. I loved that!

Jacquelyn of Beijos Events says, Kimberly is getting married in Hawaii at the end of May and had seen our Aloha bridal shower styled shoot we did last year and thought we would make the perfect fit! It was a small gathering with each place setting made special with details like gold acrylic pineapples reading, “You had me at Aloha”, custom name macarons for each guest, and gifts such as gold Aloha necklaces by For Paul Handcrafted and pineapple necklaces by Wanderlust + Co.! And of course having the most picturesque venue on the rooftop at the Palihouse didn’t hurt either!

Kimberly, on the venue… I wanted to find a location in LA with a great outdoor space so the rooftop at the Palihouse was perfect with incredible 360 views of the city. Perched up in our little tropical oasis. Brunch is one of my favorite meals of the day so I did a daytime party to soak up the sun. We kept it small and intimate. I’ve had big dinners where you don’t get a chance to really talk with everyone so this was the perfect sized group for me. Every detail was perfect. Even the desserts were customized with the girls’ names.

And this time next week Kimberly will be a Mrs! Wishing you two the best!
