So she scouted out a few special spots in downtown Dallas, and shot Liz + Philip’s engagement sesh all around the city. From breathtaking cityscapes to charming corner cafes, it’s a dazzling backdrop indeed. Let’s take a peek…

The proposal story, from bride-to-be Liz: Philip and I have known each other since middle school. However, we didn’t really hit it off until the summer after high school graduation. He went traveling in Israel with his family for a month and it was during that time we hooked up as pen pals. Once he got back to the States we knew we had to be together.

Philip proposed to me on our two-year anniversary. I was bummed because we both had to work all day but we had a great night out planned. Lauren had contacted us previously explaining how she wanted to use us for a branding shoot she was doing for her up and coming business. She coincidentally could only do the shoot on the day of our anniversary (July 11th). So after work Philip and I headed over to a popular park in town to meet with Lauren. We had a blast walking around being goofballs while Lauren did her thing! It wasn’t until what seemed like the 50th location that Philip dropped down to one knee and did his thing! And Lauren was there to capture it all. Philip had hired her specifically to photograph such a big moment in both of our lives. I was shocked and crying and the happiest I had ever been. And Lauren was so great to go along with all of it. I had no clue!
