The June gloom we’ve been experiencing here in LA reminds us of pretty places like Seattle that get to enjoy the grays and blues on a regular basis. To capture all of that and show us what it would be like to have a wedding in the city’s surroundings, Lauren Ledbetter collaborated with Brad & Jen to create an “ode to Seattle” wedding. From Lauren… Extending over Elliott Bay from Pier 67, the Edgewater Hotel is a landmark hotel, a staple of Seattle history and is less than a mile from the Pike Place Market. For me, this shoot felt like home. Having grown up in Seattle, I wanted the grays and blues to be an underlining theme and direct reflection of the surrounding elements. Using flowers and cooking up the catch of the day from Pike Place Market, everything about this shoot is truly a direct representation of the Seattle ocean front.

Can anyone tell me anything about the dress? I'm drooling over that dress. Just what I've been looking for. Similar dresses would also be appreciated. Getting married, wahoo!!!!

The couple you found for this photo shoot are the most beautiful couple I have ever seen. I love looking at them because they are so natural and perfect with your organic approach. Wow what dress. Is that kale in the buttoner?

I absolutely LOVE weddings on the water! Very cool that you've captured exactly how beautiful it can be! It's cool to see how the Catering selection in the Northwest is completely different then anything you would see in the Midwest! I see BBQ all the time at weddings around here! :)

What an incredible view! I love the seafood included, too.
