Lakeside wedding in Maine: Jenna + Jeremy

There are so many beautiful elements to this wedding. As the Founder of I Will Save the World, Jenna wanted the objective of their wedding to be significance. It seeped into every stylized detail. They paid tribute to the ceremonies of loved ones who came before them with a handmade chuppah, the beadwork on Jenna’s dress symbolizes different stages of her life, and then there was lobster and tug-o-war, and many jumps into the lake. Seeds of Peace was the perfect setting to make a weekends worth of memorable camp-style experiences. You have to watch the video by Wade of Shark Pig at the end… amazing.

Every time they considered a different venue, they’d get pulled back into this one. With Jeremy’s longstanding involvement with Seeds of Peace and Jenna’s career focus on empowering the next generation by fostering opportunities for youth to enlarge their global perspective, they made the decision — there was no place on this planet that reflected who and what they hope to achieve independently and collectively throughout their lives than the Seeds of Peace camp.

Jenna was shopping with her mom in Dubai when they stumbled into one of their favorite boutiques and noticed a series of ball gowns for Emirati women to wear to local weddings by Ayesha Depala. She instantly fell in love and went on to work closely with Ayesha to design the beadwork. The design was heavily influenced by Arab and Indian patterns and incorporates many symbols of Jenna’s life.

Jenna and her dad designed and built the chuppah together using heirlooms from their respective families, including Ellis Island documents and jewelry work by great-great grandmothers during their weddings.

We’re so in love with this emotional and epic video by Wade of Shark Pig. Totally makes us wish we could have been a part of their wedding!
