Tina became obsessed with the idea of a barn wedding the first time she ran across photos of the Dana-Powers House. We’re huge fans of the wedding venue ourselves. It’s one of those love at first sight kind of places. Luckily Tina was blessed with inheriting her mother’s creativity because the invitations, menus, programs, table numbers, signs, favor boxes and decor she designed are matching of their gorgeous venue, and most excellent photography by Birds of a Feather.
Wow, now that’s a head table!
I loved our ceremony. When I started walking down the aisle, I was so emotional and happy that I immediately started crying. Our officiant was a close friend, and we involved our families in the ceremony as well. It was so wonderful to be there in that moment holding hands with my best friend and to share all those feelings and emotions with our friends and families. Our wedding was also a destination wedding for 99% of our guests, so it was great to spend the whole weekend with them and see people we don’t get to see very often.
