SimpleRegistry is changing the way engaged couples create and share their wedding registry. They’ve made it fun (and addicting) to register for any item from any store. Even non-tangible stuff like season tickets, indoor skydiving sessions, or a donation to a favorite charity. Literally anything that can be thought up can be added to a registry. Need we say more?

Yes, we shall. SimpleRegistry is also hosting an amazing special offer for one lucky couple to win $5,000 credit toward their registry when you register between now and April 30th.

With cool and unique tools that make registering for gifts fun and personable, you can create a registry that is reflective of your personality instead of the latest inventory of the big box retail stores. Love that about them!

A few more features that make SimpleRegistry so amazing:

* Split Pricey Items to Smaller Portions — Let’s face it, there probably aren’t many people that will buy someone that awesome $2,000 camera all on their own. However, almost everyone has at least 20 friends that would be willing to chip in $100 each. It’s easy to allow for group-gifting at any price level.

* Setup is Easy (and Fun) — Customizing a registry is easy with purpose-built tools like the SimpleAdder (bookmarklet for adding any item from any website with one-click), free Mobile App (scan barcodes or snap a photo of anything and add it to the registry), and Instant Registry for those in a hurry (pre-made lists of professionally curated items).

* Let Others Suggest Cool Items — Registry creation is crowdsourced with their new Item Suggestions feature. Easily send people (with the best taste) a custom version of the SimpleAdder tool that allows them to suggest items from any website in the world. You then have complete power over which suggested items to add – and which to ignore.

* All Gifts Redeemed as Cash — When the wedding is over all gifts are redeemed directly as cash for the ultimate in flexibility. Newer model of that camera since the registry was created? Different color of that blender desired? No problem! You tell SimpleRegistry when you’re ready to receive your gifts and they send a check or deposit funds directly to your checking or PayPal account.

* Saying “Thank You” Made Easy — Instantly generated list of all guests, the gift(s) they provided, amounts, and their full contact information.

Watch their cute “how it works” video here, check out the real stories from couples sharing their experience using SimpleRegistry, and create your registry before April 30th for the chance to win $5,000 credit!

Seeds of Peace Campe, Maine | Photo by Angelica Glass

There are so many beautiful elements to this wedding. As the Founder of I Will Save the World, Jenna wanted the objective of their wedding to be significance. It seeped into every stylized detail. They paid tribute to the ceremonies of loved ones who came before them with a handmade chuppah, the beadwork on Jenna’s dress symbolizes different stages of her life, and then there was lobster and tug-o-war, and many jumps into the lake. Seeds of Peace was the perfect setting to make a weekends worth of memorable camp-style experiences. You have to watch the video by Wade of Shark Pig at the end… amazing.

Every time they considered a different venue, they’d get pulled back into this one. With Jeremy’s longstanding involvement with Seeds of Peace and Jenna’s career focus on empowering the next generation by fostering opportunities for youth to enlarge their global perspective, they made the decision — there was no place on this planet that reflected who and what they hope to achieve independently and collectively throughout their lives than the Seeds of Peace camp.

gold winter wedding inspiration

Every season holds its own inspiration. Spring has soft pastels and sweet tiny blooms on branches. Summer has wildflowers and vibrant jewel tones. Autumn is natural, crisp, and surrounded by amber light. But winter – winter is for sparkly gold, ivory, and decadent desserts. The color board for this inspiration shoot combined the cool wintry tones of gray & white with the warmth of firelight gold. It’s Juli Vaughn Design‘s take on snuggling with your sweetheart and feasting at a table surrounded by the prettiest of flowers.

Bella Luna country wedding | Photo by Michele M. Waite

If you’re having a country-esque, farm-chic wedding like these two had, this is your wedding venue. Kristina attended the wedding as a friend of Jen’s and told us that Bella Luna Farms was absolutely amazing, and like something out of a magazine. It was a laid back day with games, farm animals trotting about, locally grown bright flowers, a mouth-watering oyster bar, and plenty of handmade details photographed by Michèle M. Waite.
