There are couples that like to register for stuff, and then there are couples that like to register for an experience. And let’s not forget about the guests at your wedding. There are the ones that just want to buy the next item you have on your registry and call it a day, and then there are the guests that want to wow you with the best gift possible. Long story short, Wanderable wants to make life easy on you and your guests. They offer a free and stylish honeymoon registry with no ads (woo!), that doesn’t take any percentages or fees. Take the tour!

Did the pictures of pretty places help? You can enjoy the experience of planning your honeymoon and making your own personalized honeymoon registry with a photograph, a personal note, wedding details, and any images of your choice. When guests buy, they can send a personal message and print out a beautifully designed gift certificate to include with their gift. It’s all one pretty package.

And if you just want to start by finding new and original things to do, Wanderable’s got an entire community of couples sharing their travel plans and ideas. Easy breezy honeymoon planning. This is the way it should be!

With only 11 days to relocate to a new venue after getting an email saying their original venue had to immediately shut down permanently (um, crazy!), Tess had a bit of a meltdown, who wouldn’t, and had to take all of the ideas she’d been dreaming of for the past 8 months and make them work for a new venue. But, like we hear from so many brides, everything worked out for the best in the end. The whimsical, diy, clean, classy, and by no means formal wedding Tess had in her mind came out beautiful, of course! Oh and we’re pretty much in love what she did with their ceremony venue. You’ll see.

Wish we could turn these photos into a little flip book. So adorable how she’s so excited that she’s running to meet her man.

And here’s the white fabric + book paper pendants strung with lighting that we’re loving so much. We don’t know what it would have looked like in their original venue, but we must say, it looks awesome against the wood backdrop.

One of their hobbies is restoring and recreating furniture/antique items they’ve found on the street & thrift stores, hence the vintage fans, clocks and vases.

A practical tip from Tess: I would really recommend to be flexible, keep a notebook, make lists, process everything with a few close friends and/or your planner, make a budget and stick to it, delegate to trustworthy people, try not to give family any responsibilities the day of the wedding… just let them enjoy the day with you. Keep things simple and keep it real. I took all of my favorite ideas I’d seen others had used and worked to recreate them in a way that expressed our own unique style. I was being influenced by so many different ideas but it was driving me crazy! I needed to find out what spoke to me, what made me feel the most comfortable and the most beautiful. After that I knew exactly what my wedding would look like. I had to keep reminding myself that this day was supposed to be for me and my husband…and everyone else had the privilege of being a part of our special day. The end result was everything I had imagined and most importantly we had a blast!

There’s a reason the phrase pretty in pink exists, aside from it being an awesome 80s movie. Things just look prettier in blush pink, especially when they’re placed with neutral tones, a touch of sage green from a succulent, vanilla bridesmaid dresses, and groomsmen dressed in denim button-ups. Lovers of pink, this quaint afternoon shoot was designed with you in mind! The blush mercury glass vases, pillar holders, tea lights, and pew marker lanterns all add a touch of sparkle and elegance to the rustic outdoor setting and farm tables made of reclaimed barn wood. Take a look:

White hydrangeas added softness to the tablescape, while the large hurricane vases of pussy willow branches, freesia, and pink peppercorn berries added drama.

Good stuff, yes?

AAAHH L’AMOUR!!! We’ve planned a sweet little trip to Paris today to peek at what’s happening overseas in the wedding world. Everything and everyone you need to know when planning a wedding in Paris recently gathered under one roof to celebrate all that is pretty at the curated event, Love {etc}. French-American photographer, Mademoiselle Fiona, attended and is sharing photos of all the pretty creations, fun workshops, and decor inspiration that took place at La Cartonnerie. P.S, the two creative minds behind the event, Nessa & Clémentine, of Made in You (MiY), share a cute behind the scenes video at the end of the post! C’est magnifique!

What wedding in Paris would be complete without a Vespa send off? We love how they dolled it up with some fresh florals. The flower arrangements in tin cans hanging from a vintage wooden ladder looks quite pretty too, doesn’t it?

We love this venue (La Cartonnerie)! Great for a wedding in Paris, wink wink. It has an old charm to it that’s so romantic. But then, this is Paris we’re talking about. Everything is romantic! Ok now for the freshly released moving picture from the event!

A big thank you to Mademoiselle Fiona for sharing her gorgeous photos and to Nessa & Clémentine for such a successful event showing us the best that Paris has to offer!
