Today was supposed to be the last post of the year for us, but we ended up having too much to cram into this week. So we have a few more treats coming before xmas eve.

This little Christmas shoot from Sitting in a Tree is so pretty and such the perfect inspiration for the last weekend of mad holiday prep before Santa comes to town. Doesn’t it make you want to go crazy crafty on your living room? And have 3 cocktail parties in the next week?

AND, we even have a cute video of the day just to get you even more in the mood!

Gee Whiz, It’s Christmas from Austin Hendrix on Vimeo.

Thanks so much for sharing, ladies!

See you next week everyone for the final posts of the year.

Love the spirit of this pretty London wedding. Nothing better than a newly wed couple dancing up the aisle after they exchange vows, don’t you think? Luke and Kirstie are big swing fans so they had, get this: A swing lesson from Swing Patrol for their guests before dinner! Isn’t that amazing? Which made the post dinner dancing so much fun.

Thanks, Luke and Kirstie! What fun.

Feeling girly today, ladies? Then we’ve got just the thing for you – Jean-Pierre & Keira’s super glamorous, very pink, and all-around dazzling wedding. Remember the cute pink and gold invitations we posted awhile back? Well the bride is back to share the details from their wedding. Would you believe the whole thing was planned long distance? The event took place in Toronto, but JP & Keira did all the hard work from New York! They even Skyped with vendors. How 2010 of them!

Have a look at how nicely the whole thing turned out:

This photo of Keira is so lovely! Isn’t her hair kind of amazing? She got serious about the glamour, no?

It’s the little things – like elegant beaded clutches and stylish silver hairpieces – that make us crazy about this look. BTW – that headpiece was a birthday gift from the groom. Nice work, JP!

Some fun, quirky watches for the guys to balance out the all of the girly pink. Love the little man montage.

The shiny silver vases and candlelight are the perfect supporting cast for those BEAUTIFUL pink posies!

So beautiful. Big congrats to Jean-Pierre and Keira, and their incredible team of superstar vendors!

The lovely Leila invited us and some other blog friends to a chic California Christmas dinner a couple weeks ago, and look what a cute little party it was! Such pretty colors, don’t you think? We love California, we do.

That most cutest pup is Carissa’s dog “Bossy”. Oh Bossy! We love you. Come be our 100LC mascot, pls.

Succulent trees (dreamed up by Cortnie of Canvas and Canopy, and made by her and Carissa) and sugar cookie ornaments and desserts from Cupcakes Couture.

Giant tillandsias are always amazing. So graceful and weird at the same time, don’t you think? Love them with the bits of coral and huge red flowers.

Don’t you want to plan a little holiday party yourself now??

You can see more photos on Green Wedding ShoesGrey Likes Weddings, and Hostess with the Mostess too!

(And P.S., there are a few sources to buy giant Tillandsias and other air plants in the resources section of our site! You can also buy some of the items from this party here)

We’re so excited to share this oh-so-beauteous Seattle wedding with you guys today, shot by one of our fave photographers Michèle M. Waite!  Ashley & Ryan wanted their big day to be completely personalized to showcase their uniquely special taste, something that was not only light-hearted and fun, but celebrated community – the people who have been such an important influence in their lives.

These two lovebirds collaborated to create many of the wonderful pieces you’ll see below: the invitations, programs, CDs that were given as favors, the “A+R Wedding” sandwich board, table numbers, bridesmaid flower belts…. whew! A ton of work and so gorgeously executed!

Bringing the whole “community” theme full-circle, family and friends also lovingly played a big part in bringing everything together – dessert-baking, beer-brewing, ping-pong table-painting, even choreographing their first dance!

Such fun, bright bouquets!

This fabulously flow-y fabric backdrop was made by the the groom’s sister – it’s so billowy and beautiful. The perfect addition to an already stunning ceremony space.

Those wooden ceilings and hanging lights are so grand, and the candlelight pews are just divine. Such a good venue!!

Beautiful tabletops complete with mini-lanterns, pretty pink menus, vintage glassware, and bundles of peaches(!!)

Ashley & Ryan surprised their guests by doing a swing dance for their first dance – hello, that is amazing! We totally admire their bravery, and it looks like they’re having sooo much fun!

Gorgeous and more importantly, looks like so much fun! Bravo, Ashley & Ryan. Congrats!
