100 Layer Cake

Cakelets! This is it. Our sign off for the year. It’s been another most excellent 365 with you all and we’re, as always, so so excited to have each and every one of you stopping by our blog on a regular basis.

It was a big year, in so many ways! We started off the year with our first 100LC baby when Kristina had her little boy, Dashiell. Then we launched our site – a big giant huge enormous baby between the three of us. And finished off the year with Jillian’s little bundle of baby boy joy, Liam, born just last week. Three babies in one year! How delicious. Which means Amanda needs to have her own baby next year, don’t you think?

Most importantly we had so much fun with you all! And we absolutely can’t wait to share everything we have planned for next year.

Here’s to every year being better than the one before, to lots more cuteness, to poofy skirts and over-sized headpieces, to mini dresses and sparkly shoes, to luscious bouquets, inspired details, breath-taking photography, homemade pies, pretty paper, and all the details that make weddings such a constant source of inspiration and creativity. There are truly some of the most creative people we know working in this space and we’re so happy to be a small part of it!

Of course it’s cute as ever. This spread is a modern twist on the traditional wedding – the white dress, full invite suite, something borrowed, blue, old and new. It’s clean but a bit rustic… like fancy restaurant on a mountain top or a new winter lodge full of beautiful blonde wood.

Looks like pretty darn good inspiration for a New Year’s Day brunch too! Pick one up for holiday travel reading!
