Bonjour nos chéris! We first want to thank you all, every single sweet one of you, for making this year such a fun, inspiring venture. We’re signing off for the rest of 2009 to recoup and make some progress on our website. YES, we do actually intend to launch it. We’re not just saying so. But before we do, we have a few things for yous.

Our contest winners!

It was soooooo hard to pick just 3 colorboard winners. So hard. It’s like being a judge on Project Runway or something. Imagine how stressful that is! But here they are:

Juliet, who will be getting married in the hangar of the Kansas City Airline History Museum.

Melissa, who will be marrying her Scottish fiance at the house of an art lover in Glasgow… there will be kilts. Yay.

Charmaine, whose wedding will be inspired by a field journal collecting nature’s wonders across two continents.

Congrats you lovely ladies! We’ll be in touch.

So… yesterday sucked! Our site was down all afternoon, in case you thought we’d cashed in our chips and headed for the hills. No no. We’re still here. The internets and it’s technology can be so frustrating at times. And Media Temple, we’re watching you. One more incident like that and we’re going to have a talk. Anyway.

You all must remember Martha’s super cute letterpressed invites and save-the-dates. We do. We loved them. We have a few sweet shots of their October wedding in Atlanta to share. Yay! As Martha says, they just wanted to throw a party. Good company, good food, good fun. We’re thinking that’s the perfect plan. And of course Martha threw in a bunch of sweet projects to personalize their day, even though she says their space could have been left completely unadorned… but as we all know, no one can resist the wedding crafts.

Martha (Stewart) pom-poms marked their ceremony space…

Martha (Bride) referenced this great tutorial on paper n stitch to make her little fabric banner, using the same Amy Butler fabrics from her invites.

She used the same fabric to dress up her napkin rolls. Super simple, but such a nice touch. Their centerpieces were simple too: vases from Ikea with a few stems of mums and roses.

And because there was BBQ involved, they had custom bibs made for their guests. Very cute, Martha!

Thanks so much for sharing, Martha! And of course, congratulations.

Stephanie Williams sent us this swanky LA wedding and we’ve been excited to show it to you all. Especially the sweet mix of the bride and groom’s backgrounds. Mariachis and top hats and double decker British buses. Mix it up if it speaks to you!
