Jessica + Tad’s handmade letterpress silkscreened invite suite

September 1, 2009

First can we just say, um, it’s September. Crazy.

Next, it’s soooo satisfying to see such a huge suite of pretty paper pieces all in one place, all for one purpose. Jessica and Tad are both designers and illustrators (plus Tad co-runs a silkscreen shop in Kansas City called Vahalla Studios), so of course they had to make their invites and reception pieces themselves.

Ah, the relationship timeline. Could not ever get tired of a nicely presented relationship timeline. Especially when you consider how many people may be invited to your wedding who don’t really know the whole story of you two as a couple. Nicely done, Tad & Jess. Can we call you Jess?

Tote bags! We want to go to a wedding with screen printed tote bags waiting in our hotel room. Plus Jessica and Tad’s guests got a set of 4 silkscreened greeting cards they designed and printed themselves. SO CUTE. And thoughtful. They definitely get a gold star for favors.

Awesome work you two! And thank you so much for sharing everything with us.
