People are really bringing it with unique holiday ideas this year, aren’t they? We’ve already shared how to throw a holiday party at home, not to mention these 12 tasty cocktail recipes, and now we’ve got Cassandra of borrowed BLU and floral designer Lauryl Lane with 5 easy ways to elevate your holiday decor. After seeing all the pretty shots from Sanaz Photography, you’ll want to heed their advice for sure!

Their first tip? Style up that bar cart! Take it to the next level like they did with beautiful glassware, bar tools, and exotic plants. Not only is it eye-catching, it’s a no fuss way to offer up holiday drinks to your guests.

Tip #2… Coordinate gift wrap with your tabletop decor: You can easily extend the beauty of your tables with gifts wrapped in dramatic colors and patterns! We created an entire field of whimsical fun around our tree with presents wrapped in luxurious papers of black and gold paired with playful animal prints by Midori Ribbon, a perfect pairing of adult sophistication and youthful delight.

Of course, you gotta have those luxe tabletop pieces to make your tablescape pop. If you don’t have ’em, rent ’em! Cassandra used their handcrafted Renaissance Gold Chargers for an elegant finishing touch.

The aforementioned coordinating paper? They also used it to wrap up favors for each guest. Such a clever way to make everything cohesive and surprise friends and fam too!

Last but not least, how to pull off such a fabulous tree…

Beautiful ribbon, artfully placed, can easily take your tree to the next level, but adding a “ribbon” of quality silk flowers is just as easy and can take your tree a giant step further! Lauryl Lane used big bold tropical leaves and blooms from A Floral in our holiday color scheme. It was effortless to trim down the stems and arrange the silks in a swirling pattern around our tree using florist paddle wire to secure them to branches.

Those simple details sure do add up. Thanks to Cassandra + the team below for the some last minute inspo!
