I'm wondering how to feed the thread through the holes as well - I'm also confused about how to tie it off. If you could explain this part that'd be great! Thanks!

Hi...Can you tell me how you actually feed the thread through the three holes.? Is there an order to it? How do you tie it off when you are done? Where does the knot go? Do you see it? Thanks!!

I love this idea, and thank you SO much for posting the instructions! I think I'm going to follow the advice to make these as favors. I've been trying to think of a way to incorporate some of my fabric stash, and this may be it. I think I will sew a layer of fabric onto the cover, and then follow the directions, using nice lined paper, and make them small enough to be purse or pocket size.

I agree with Kayla, I think page 4 needs to be on the top half of the second document and page 3 on the bottom half. :)

Hi there! I'm loving this cute idea, in fact I loved it so much I tried it out then and there with some normal A4 paper :) I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, but it seems that if you're going to put one folded piece of paper into the other, then the second document (containing pages 3 & 4) should actually have page 4 on top of page 3. That way, the pages run correctly when you put one inside the other.

Aside from the Letterpress cards (which is an awesome wonderful idea), I used this exact method with gocco'd coverstock to create the invitation booklets for our wedding featured below! {Amanda & Braydan}

Aw! Totally cute idea! I used some semi-DIY booklets for the ceremony programs that I loved, but this is just SUCH a cute idea! Thanks!
