Megan of Festive Event Planning explains, We wanted to evoke the equestrian spirit of the location, but with a romantic, bohemian twist. As such, our inspiration stemmed from our surroundings, with the shoot’s colors directly inspired by those of the venue’s—think the stark white of the structures as reflected in the understated gown by Stone Cold Fox, the muted red of the barns as bespoke in the linens by La Tavola Fine Linen and floral-framed invitation suite by Prim & Pixie, and the sundry browns of the roaming horses as reflected in the ceremony hide rug, Equipales details from Elan Event Rentals and braided bridal shoes by Free People.

Just a quick pause to admire those red peonies peeking through. Oak Barrel & Bloom Co. managed to take their color palette to new heights with the bold arrangements.

Adding to the naturally driven elements were golden and copper details provided through Borrowed Blu‘s collection of gold-tone flatware, dinnerware and candlesticks, the vintage-styled jewels of Torchlight, and the lightly gilded cake by Frost It Cakery—which added a touch of timelessness to the shoot and dreamily complemented the day’s radiant sunset.
