Yep, we’re doing it. We’re using the cutest pup ever to make it impossible for you to look away from this bohemian Palm Springs wedding you’ll totally fall for. A is a hairstylist + M is a musician, and you can tell their creative sides got right to work with all their DIYs and laidback summer vibes. Given that Matt proposed in Mexico, it made sense that it had a little influence on their vibrant wedding style too.

Thanks to Melanie Osorio Photography for sharing the images!

They didn’t do a first look so seeing Matt tear up as she walked down the aisle was a pretty heart-melting moment for Aimee!

Aimee made oversized crepe paper peonies, gold glitter signs, and invites. Her uncle built the arbor, and her mom created the napkins + placemats, including the handlettering. They also had hints of Aimee’s grandmother who passed away when she was little, with the lace hanging at the bar and table.

From the bride… We had a really tough time finding the perfect venue for our budget, it took us 4 months to finally find it. Everything after that seemed to fall into place. It was pretty easy planning a small wedding (45 guests). Our families knew from the beginning we wanted to keep it intimate and were totally supportive. I think creating a vision that is totally you is so important! And be realistic of your time and limits. Building an arbor is way past my crafty skills, but having a carpenter for an uncle really came in handy. I wanted to do as much as I could myself, but in the end I needed help. So don’t be afraid to ask!

Did we mention they managed everything except the dress for $8,500? Yep. Congrats you two!
