Have you ever fallen in love with a place setting? We know. It can sound kind of silly, but we have totally fallen in love with this one. You can’t go wrong with black, white and gold. They’re classic and elegant colors that can turn a tablescape modern in just a sec, depending on the pattern and how it’s styled. Lovely Day Styling & Events took the black & white trend and created scenes to inspire couples looking for a contemporary style in a more natural or rustic venue. Ooh, there is just so much right happening in this shoot. Like those porcupine quills that Jakkelyn Iris Designs added to the centerpiece… so good!
For the florals, Jakkelyn Iris Designs went with David Austin ‘Patience’ roses, spirea, double tulips in cream, anemones, and hypericum berries. For the bits of green, she used silver dollar eucalyptus and mint.
Those cocktail stirrers are the most delicate ever. Hartford Prints placed the couple’s monogram atop a delicate gold twig.
They also created a pretty invitation for the shoot by layering decorative leaf paper under letterpress printed vellum. To get that pattern on the bottom they used a spray adhesive to add a pattern of gold paillettes.
Can we dine here every night? Gorgeous!
Our hope is to inspire brides to think differently about their tabletop design and understand that a rustic venue doesn’t necessarily demand a bounty of mason jars barn themed wedding. (So true!)
The menu is printed on vellum, allowing the gorgeous pattern of the place setting to show through. So smart!
