There’s just two more posts before we sign off for Christmas, Cakies, and you definitely don’t want to miss ’em. Tomorrow we have the prettiest fall dinner party to share, but for now let’s swoon over the most thoughtful pastel wedding Erica of Twine Events sent our way. The photos by Rebecca Yale are just stunning and will have you dreaming of flowers for days…

First off, let’s talk about this enchanting venue. The Adamson House in Malibu is a 1929 property that’s also a National Historic Site and a California Historic Landmark. It overlooks the ocean and lagoon while being surrounded by gorgeous gardens.

To keep with the natural garden feel of the venue, Lavenders Flowers brought in soft pink florals + lots of eucalyptus and local greenery which made for the prettiest arrangements and garlands.

Erica explains, With the client having a bold, bright, and jewel toned Mehndi welcome party the night before, we wanted the wedding to feel softer and garden inspired. The venue lends itself to beautiful Malibu nature all over the property, so we incorporated a lot of natural elements. Think natural wood, concrete and cement vessels, and ceramic tabletop. Quality and details were super important to the family, yet we wanted guests to feel comfortable and homey as if they were dining at their family home—i.e. the guests dined family style, pashminas and blankets were available, table numbers were local beach names, and the croquembouche cake (bride’s favorite dessert) were shared among the guests.

This gold + blush place setting would be lovely inspiration for a bridal brunch too, don’t you think?

We’ll never say no to a vintage getaway car, but who knew they could be this pretty!?
