After perusing these photos by Colin Young-Wolff of Parachute Home founder Ariel + beau Trevor’s celebration at Parachute’s gathering + vacation rental spot, The Parachute Hotel, we so want to see more engagement parties in the 100LC inboxes. These two had 100 friends and fam in attendance, so they came up with a modern “spring house party” vibe that felt warm and welcoming to guests.
We asked A for a little background on her brand, for those of you that don’t know…
Parachute makes modern Bedding and Bath essentials for a more comfortable home. Our products are designed in Venice Beach and responsibly manufactured by the world’s best artisans. The Parachute Hotel is an extension of the brand inviting guests to experience the lifestyle firsthand. As someone who is all about hosting, my biggest priority is creating a memorable and welcoming place for my friends and family to gather. I love that our brand encourages and upholds these values through the home essentials we offer.
Sophia of ISA ISA added a floral installation across the living room wall and they color blocked using orange, yellow, and green.
My personal aesthetic doesn’t differ much from that of Parachute’s. Our unfussy style and natural color palette help to create a cozy, relaxing environment. Since we had already hosted many gorgeous events at The Parachute Hotel, I really wanted to transform the space for our engagement party to make it feel different and extra special for our family and friends that joined to celebrate us!
Guests were treated to bites by bang bang brunch and cake by Chef Stefanie Nass.

We are getting married on Cinco de Mayo 2018 at Hotel Esencia in Mexico which is 30min outside of Tulum. Trevor and I went there shortly after we got engaged in January. It was only a few minutes after we set foot on the property that we knew this would be the perfect place to tie the knot. We’re taking over the entire 40-room boutique hotel which will create a very logistics free weekend for our guests—which was really important to me. Similar to the engagement party, we want our guests to feel relaxed in one of our now favorite places in the world. It’s such a gorgeous part of Mexico! We’ll be hosting a three day event, complete with a pool party the day after the ceremony. We want to spend as much time as possible with our friends and family, having fun and reveling in the merriment.
