Morning Cakies! For our last real wedding of the year (sooo can’t wait to share what we’ve got in store for 2017), we’ve got Emily + Scott, owners of a fun Disney-inspired t-shirt company, and their garden wedding at 128 South and Bakery 105 in Wilmington, NC. So much organic modern wedding goodness, as captured by Brian Schindler:

The bridal bouquet recipe: white ranunculus, white garden roses, olive and eucalyptus leaves.

E’s dress is Wtoo by Watters and she had custom Cinderella-inspired heels made to go along with it.

Emily says, Our style was organic modern—lots of natural wood and thick greenery everywhere. We used hundreds of ivory candles to make the spaces look elegant and our main colors were ivory (our linens and a mix of ivory flowers) plus pops of blue and accents of copper everywhere. We like things simple and natural but still very stylish.

They chose 128 South and Bakery 105 because it’s got the perfect mix of historic + industrial.

They planned their wedding for 70 guests in 10 months. Here’s Emily’s tips:

1. Edit your ideas carefully and only follow through with what’s most important to you. Don’t let other peoples’ ideas take over what really represents you.
2. Invest in GOOD QUALITY FOOD!
3. Consider not having a bridal party… Less stress and pressure. You can still invite all your friends to celebrate!
4. Have a planner or at least a day-of coordinator.
5. Give yourself more than enough time to get ready.

Sweet ‘n simple, thanks E. Wishing you two the best!
