Rabbits, upside down hanging ferns, T. Rex’s, and confetti bags. If those are some of your favorite things and you’ve ever wondered how to work them into your wedding decor, this is the wedding that will show you how it’s done. They’re actually all elements that represent Tharien + Fred in some way, and it’s adoring to see how they included them throughout their pretty wedding venue, Poortjie Saal in Johannesburg.
Tharien kept her bridal bouquet simple by tying a handful of Tuberoses together.
Their music: Tharien walked down the isle to Mendelssohn’s Wedding march (performed on an electric organ, by a close friend). And their first dance was to Miike Snow’s, Animal (it was the first song they ever listened to together, the night they met).
How sweet is this little pop up graphic of a T.Rex and a rabbit kissing a heart?
Tharien runs her own company, Swagger Products, where she creates unique and fun wall decor, housewares, wedding gifts and custom projects. All the custom goods you see here were all made by her!
Congrats Tharien + Fred!
